Jamaat e Islami Hind (JIH) Maharashtra will conduct a state wide
campaign "ISLAM FOR ALL" from 9th to 18th January 2015 as part of
it's four year term planned activities. The aim of the campaign is to present
the Islamic teachings of peace, equality, freedom, brotherhood, and communal
harmony, social and economic justice and to introduce Islam as a complete code
of conduct that guarantees success both in this world and the Hereafter.
Jamaat has conducted similar campaigns like “Quran for All”,
“Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for All” for presenting Islam to our beloved
countrymen and remove the misconceptions about Islam that have been created in
the minds of people. Recently Jamaat has mobilized public opinion in favor of
humane and inclusive development through its campaigns "Desh / Maharashtra
ka Vikas Nyay aur Sadbhavna ke Saath".
India is currently facing several issues and problems like poverty,
unemployment, crimes against women, farmers suicides, discrimination against
minorities and the weaker and backward classes, communalism, gender inequality,
economic imperialism and corruption at all levels of governance and
administration.
Islam offers a comprehensive solution to all these problems that
have beset our country by presenting an alternative worldview in which people submit
themselves to their Creator and Sustainer and by believing in accountability of
the Hereafter.
Some of the objectives of ISLAM FOR ALL campaign are:
1. to foster and establish good human relations with all fellow
citizens of this country.
2. to acquaint them with the life, mission and achievements of the
Prophet (pbuh) and his true benevolence to the world. It would remove
misgivings spread by various quarters about the personality of the Prophet.
3. to explain Islamic teachings regarding unity of mankind, human
dignity and equality. It would emphasize the fact that Islam does not impose
its creed on anyone by force.
4. to present the religion of Islam as a way of life (jeevan
pranali) for all mankind and not just for Muslims.
5. to remove the various solutions and remedies that Islam has to
offer for the various burning social and economic issues that confront the
country.
6. to remove the various misconceptions and misunderstandings about
Islam.
7. to remind the Muslims community of their noble responsibility to
spread the message of Islam and becoming exemplary citizens of the country and
the world.
With an aim to reach out to nearly 3 crore people of the state some
of the activities that have been planned for ISLAM FOR ALL campaign are:
v publishing fresh literature on introduction to Islam
v publishing handbills, folders, banners, stickers and hoardings on
the campaign theme.
v individual and group meetings to enable face to face contact
v seminars, symposiums and public meetings
v utilizing social media like Twitter, FB, Youtube and mass media
like TV, radio and newspapers for communicating the message of the campaign.
Besides the above ISLAM FOR ALL campaign would organize blood
donation camps, visit to jails, old age homes and hospitals.
The highlight of the campaign would be the “Group Delegations” that
would tour the various areas of the state of Maharashtra viz Mumbai and Konkan,
Pune, Nanded, Aurangabad, Nashik, Amrawati and Nagpur. The Group Delegations
would comprise of eminent personalities like Dr Ram Punyani, B.M Hirdekar, Prof
Arun Gadwe, Popatrao Pawar, Maulana Mehmood Daryabandi, Hafiz Nadeem Siddiqui,
Mufti Khaleelur Rehman, Maulana Sajjad Nomani and Syed Zaheer Abas Rizwi.
Jamaat has also launched mobile applications for Android mobile
