Jamaat-e-Islami Hind condemns Patna blast, says it could be
handiwork of communal forces
New Delhi, 28 Oct. 2013: Jamaat-e-Islami
Hind has strongly condemned the serial blasts in Patna today. While expressing
grief at the loss of reportedly five human lives, JIH has demanded stringent
action against the culprits and those who conspired to disturb the peaceful
atmosphere in the state of Bihar.
Mr. Nusrat Ali, Secretary General,
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has expressed apprehension that communal forces, after
disturbing the atmosphere in Western Uttar Pradesh, might have now moved to
Bihar to create an environment of fear and terror for electoral gains.
Mr. Nusrat Ali urged all state
governments including Bihar and the central government to take all steps for
protection of democratic and constitutional values and to maintain peaceful
situation for the upcoming elections. He also appealed to the masses to play a
responsible role for the protection of larger interests of the nation and
maintaining mutual love and communal harmony.
